This Classical Pilates Mat group class is designed for someone with a sound body. Term 2 we will practice Pre Pilates & level Basic to Intermediate so you do not need any previous experience with Pilates practice so its ideal this term for beginners.

We will be following the original Classical Pilates sequence the way Joe Pilates intended it and passed down to me from Romana Kryzanowska. This flowing class will eventually move quickly, creating heat and a full-body workout but we will begin to learn correct technique during this first block of 8 classes and it will set you up with a strong foundation and success.


This class is highly recommended for those who are taking the Classical Pilates Teacher Training with Suzanne, later in 2025.

Saturdays @ 12noon:
April 26 & June 7, 14,21, 28th & July 5, 12, 19

Suzanne offers variations of the movements to suit individual needs and gives very clear instructions and explanations of the purpose/benefits of various movements. Suzanne also offers lots of encouragement and reassurance. The small group size is conducive to each individual receiving attention and guidance as needed. The fact that everybody is different is recognised; there is no expectation that all will perform at the same level.
Don’t assume that this class is a “soft” option or just an easy version of pilates. On the contrary, it is challenging. And effective.
