Step 1: Pre-Training Course – October 2025
Training takes place in Coffs Harbour, NSW at Hara Beyond Movement Studio.

What is the GYROTONIC® Pre-Training Course?
This is the first step in the GYROTONIC® Level 1 Teacher Training Pathway.
You'll gain a foundational understanding of:
GYROTONIC® Level 1, exercises in your own body.
The system’s movement principles and breathing techniques
How to prepare physically for the Foundation Course
Your own movement potential — guided by expert mentorship
This is a fully immersive, hands-on program requiring a long-term commitment. The training journey includes four sequential courses (plus apprenticeship hours), spanning 195+ hours in total. Students typically become a certified Apprentice Trainer within 3 months after completing the next step 'The foundation training’, and a Licensed Trainer within 12 months.
Prerequisites
To enrol in the Pre-Training course, you’ll need either:
10+ hours of 1:1 sessions with a Certified GYROTONIC® Trainer or
✅ Completion of a 3-day Introductory Course covering Program 1 exercises

What Comes Next?
The Full Certification Pathway
To become a Licensed GYROTONIC® Trainer, students must complete the following sequence:
Pre-Training Course – 6 days / 30 hours - Starts October 7, 2025.
Foundation Course – 12 days / 60 hours (must be completed within 3mths) after the Pre Training). Starts Nov 30, 2025.
Apprenticeship Review – 6-day course after 30 supervised teaching hours. minimum 3mths after the foundation training- mid 2026, TBC.
Final Certificate Course – 3 days / 17 hours. - max 12mths after the foundation training - Late 2026, TBC
Timeframe
Approx. 3 months to become an Apprentice Trainer
Approx. 1 year to complete full certification as a Licensed Trainer
Total: 195 hours of training and teaching
